And in it, I am a plundering writer. So far, most of my stumbling has taken place in the area of TYA, or Theater for Young Audiences. A bit of a leap from my other writings. But well worth the risk, as kids are truly magical when they come to a show. They engage so deeply, and enjoy to the fullest. I just hope I live up to their excitement.
Emma and the Winter Prince: A move to a new state, new house, new school leaves Emma's life in tatters. At least for a 13 year old. When he and his family are relocated to the camps, he learns valuable life lessons and self confidence by helping his father build a baseball field and then learning how to play better. After the war, he joins the schools baseball team and excels.
