The Jungle Book:  Adapted from R. Kiplings "Jungle Book" stories.  Mowgli is adopted by a pack of wolves after being hunted in the jungle by the terrible tiger, Shere Khan.  Follow Mowgli as he grows up in the jungle, has many fantastic adventures, and journeys down the path of what it means to be Human, and where one finds family.

All the worlds a stage...

And in it, I am a plundering writer.  So far, most of my stumbling has taken place in the area of TYA, or Theater for Young Audiences.  A bit of a leap from my other writings. But well worth the risk, as kids are truly magical when they come to a show.  They engage so deeply, and enjoy to the fullest.  I just hope I live up to their excitement.

Emma and the Winter Prince:  A move to a new state, new house, new school leaves Emma's life in tatters.  At least for a 13 year old.  Then, on the winter solstice, her younger brother is kidnapped by Jack Frost in his attempt to take over Christmas from his cousin, the Winter Prince.  Now, with the help of the Winter Prince, Emma must rescue her brother before he is stuck in Winterland forever, and maybe save Christmas.

Only What We Could Carry:  Is the story of Hiro, or John to his American friends.  A young Japanese American boy who loves baseball but is not that good at it, and is bullied by other players.  When he and his family are relocated to the camps, he learns valuable life lessons and self confidence by helping his father build a baseball field and then learning how to play better.  After the war, he joins the schools baseball team and excels.
